Print Making

I had to draw this in my textbook and plan my shading. Then i had to trace it on the tracing paper. Then i would apply ink and put it on colored paper. then the print would come out. Sometimes you would need to get more paint. I really liked this project it was really fun to do. My success was finishing the project. The challenging  part was how much paint you should put on. I learned that you need to take your time when doing most projects , even this one .

Frog Tongue

i made a frog tongue in phtotshop. i accidentally took off the arms but you can still see the shadow. this was the more fun exercise compared to the pancake. even though that one came out better it was still fun.

Evil Pancake Photoshop

This exercise was fun. It was only the second time i used Photoshop. It was not really that hard since the video told you what to do. it gave you detailed steps how to complete it. It was really cool and i will definably  use it again.

Stencil Project

This was a very fun project to do in class.The only bad experience was when the ground was wet and we had to spray paint. A lesson i learned was to take it slow because my picture did not come out as good as it could have. I would make the background a different color so it is not as hard to mess up. The process is you paint a background color. I chose red. Then once that dries you can spray paint the next color. I think everything went fine until the black and orange. I did not keep the stencils in the correct place so it got messed up. The orange was bad also because it can was dyeing when i tried to put it on. It was successful because i could publish this to the blog and and it is still somewhat recognizable as a person. it was my little brother who is 9 years old 

Shoe

 

My contour line drawiong improved drastically. in the begging my hand looked like a deformed baseball. now we did the shoe and it looks really good. the more i practiced the more i understood it and did better. I also think that my rough draft shoe was okay but tit is nothing like this one.

iPad Drawing

 

 



 

 

 

 

The big difference between the pastels and the iPad was the things you could do. The iPad had a much easier smudge tool compared to the free-hand tecnique. I learned that if you want the colors to look good you need to blend them both together not just one. The technology is useful becuase you get a different expirence then you get with free-hand. 

Ant Skeleton

 

 

 

Ants have a exoskeleton. I treated this ant like a human since he walks like a human in the movie. That is why he has all the human bones, from the feet to the ribs. Although i drew the abdomen to give him the ant-like qualities. I also gave him the pelvis so he could walk like in the movie.
